Devinwood Collies
is dedicated to producing quality Collies not only for the rigors
of competition in the Show Ring, but for families who are looking
for a great family pet and loving companion. Our family of dogs
is predominately based on a foundation of quality individuals
from the Twin Oaks line. At Devinwood, each breeding is carefully
planned from top bloodlines. Use of quality stud dogs help
ensure correct Collie type, sound structure and movement, elegance,
and wonderful temperaments in their offspring.
Our foundation stud dog Ch. Twin Oaks High Plains Drifter
ROM (pictured at the top of the page) has produced many
Champions with more on the way.
In 2003 Ch. Twin Oaks High Plains
Drifter ROM achieved Register of Merit status. His name will
forever be etched in Collie history with the great producing
sires of the breed . The Register of Merit honors the lifetime
producing achievements of certain sires and dams that have produced
a specific number of champion offspring. Rough Collie sires must
produce 20 champions.
From the
moment of birth, our puppies are given the best of care and socialization,
including proper nutrition, vaccinations, health and eye checks.
Our philosophy is quite simple: As breeders, we
have chosen to bring these beautiful and wonderful dogs into
the world and therefore have a responsibility to make sure that
they are placed in great homes with families that will love and
care for them throughout their life.
