Gabrielle takes 3rd place at the Collie Club of America!!
At the 2005 Collie Club of America National Specialty in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, out of an entry of 41 puppy bitches (6 to 9 months), our "Gabby"(shown far left) took 3rd place and her little sister "Jackie" Southland Arcadia Adoration (shown right) took a 4th place!!
 
And shown below, their mother Ch. Southland Island Fever took the Brood Bitch Class with Gabby and Jackie! (Left to right: Fever, Gabby, and Jackie)


Gabrielle and her sister Charlotte (right) are a result of an outcrossed breeding of Trevor who is a linebred Ch. Twin Oaks High Plains Drifter son and "Fever" who is inbred on Ch. Southland's Bowen Island, the Best of Breed winner at the 2002 Collie Club of America National Specialty Show. These beautiful puppies are the result of the blending of these two families.

The Devinwood Gang is very excited about its newest Up and Comer "Carson" pictured here at 6 months.

Carson represents the 4th Generation offspring of Ch. Twin Oaks High Plains Drifter ROM . With a beautiful eye, smooth and clean muzzle, and beautiful expression, Carson is destined to carry on Drifter's great legacy!


At Carson's very first show at the Tri County Collie Breeders Association Collie Specialty Show, Carson won Best Puppy under judge Mary Lange, retiring the Butler Memorial Trophy!!









 

The Butler Memorial Trophy


The Butler Memorial Trophy was donated in 1983 in memory of Mrs. Isabel Butler of Kinmont Collies as a 3-win challenge trophy for winners of the Best Puppy at the annual Tri-County Collie Breeders Association Of Southeastern NY Collie Specialty Show.

"Maddy" (Carson's great-grandmother shown left) won Best Puppy in 1996, "Heather" (right) won it in 1997, and Carson won Best Puppy in 2006 retiring the trophy to Devinwood after 23 years!!

Twin Oaks All That Jazz

At 16 weeks old, Raven went Best in Sweeps at the prestigious Collie Club of Northern New Jersey Match Show over an entry of some 35 puppies!

Raven won the very competitve 9-12 month old AOC puppy bitch Class at the 2004 Collie Club of America National Specialty Show in Springfield, MA under judge Marion Durholz. She got a 4 pt major at the Trenton KC show from the 9-12 class.

This lovely Drifter GREAT-granddaughter and Ch. Edenrock of Ages granddaughter went Best in Sweeps at the Hartford Springfield Collie Club match at her very first outing at the age of 12 weeks!

At her first big show, Rosie was awarded 4th place out of 27 puppy bitches in the 9-12 Puppy Class by judge Joe Reno at the Collie Club of America National Specialty Show!!

At the Taconic Hill Kennel Club Rosie took Winners Bitch under judge Betty Peplin for her First Major!!

At the South Jersey Kennel Club Rosie took Winners Bitch under judge Shelly Roos for her Second Major!!

Rosie also went Winners Bitch at 3 consecutive shows on the Southern Maryland Circuit, giving her a total of 11 points with 2 Majors.

At her first big show, "Claire" took a 3rd Place out of 23 bitches in the Open Sable and White Class at the Collie Club of America National Specialty Show!!
