From A Tiny Acorn, A Mighty (Twin) Oak Does Grow!!

From the moment we first saw him, we knew he was a special dog! Pictured above at only 2 weeks (even before his eyes were open) you can see the beauty of his head and finish on his muzzle!

We're very excited about our newest Drifter Champion "Trevor" (Ch. Twin Oaks High Plains Drifter x Twin Oaks Matter of Trust.) This carefully planned line breeding has resulted in outstanding wins for Trevor in his very first 3 shows! The following is a pictoral account of Trevor's history in the Show Ring!

• Winner: Best in Match over a large entry of puppies at the Collie Club of Northern New Jersey under specialty judge Danny Cardoza (pictured above).
  
  
• Winner: Best Skull during the "Virtue's Match" at the prestigious annual "Gathering of the Great" and was a finalist in the Muzzle and Profile Classes.  The Virtues Match is a match where entries are judged on the presence and quality of a specified virtue. Three judges examine the class and choose the entry that best represents that virtue. Each judge comments on his top choice and shares his evaluation with the audience. The judges then have to agree on the top choice. This Virtues Match was judged by Leslie Jeszewski, Marcia Keller and Tom Coen (pictured right with handler Julie Jackson) in a program of audience and exhibitor participation designed to help the audience better understand different sections of the Collie Standard.
  
  
• Winner: Best of Breed at his very first point show at the Taconic Hills Kennel Club under judge Carol Duffy. On his first birthday, Trevor came out of the 12-18 Months Class taking Best of Breed over Specials!
  
  
• Best of Breed at the Mason Dixon Kennel Club.
